October 12 is a key date for Scotland women’s rugby supporters, but now there are a few more to add to the diary.
The 12th, theis coming Saturday, is important because that is the day the national team play Australia in Cape Town (4pm UK time at the Athlone Sports Stadium and live on BBC iPlayer and RugbyPass TV) looking to retain their WXV 2 title.
Doing so in South Africa is the immediate aim, but this is all part of a ’14 month journey’ that began in July and will end next September and October at the biggest Women’s Rugby World Cup ever in England. Scotland’s place in the 16-team showpiece will be rubberstamped this weekend.
To that end, there are dates that have been released that will be of interest to all supporters of Bryan Easson’s charges…
