Oban Lorne won Arnold Clark Women’s West Two with 12 wins from 12.

And in each of those games they earned a bonus point meaning they ended up on 70 out of a possible 70 points.

The last of the victories came on December 7 when they came out on top 24-0

Uddingston were crowned Women’s West Three champions on November 30 with a win at Mid Argyll.

They won that game 61-17 with a bonus point to finish on 35 points out of 35 points from seven games with Strathaven second on 29.

“It’s been a huge season of re-building our team and we are looking forward to the Plate run in the new year,” they said on Facebook.

“Now is the perfect time to come and try rugby, get yourself down to training it’s perfect for beginners.”

Peterhead had already been confirmed as Women’s Caledonia North Two champions before the December 6, but they received the trophy on that day after their stage two 38-0 home win over Turriff with a bonus point.

The skipper of Peterhead, Gemma Jamieson, said:  “It was a very intense and hard-fought match on Saturday, but the win means we have gone through the league campaign undefeated.

“I’d like to say thank you to everyone that made it happen on the pitch and off it. The girls have found their stride this season and we now have a well-deserved break until the new year when other competitions get going.”

Dundee Valkyries defeated Hillfoots on the road in a ‘winner takes all’ clash to lift the Women’s Caledonia Midlands East Two title on Sunday in dramatic circumstances.

The visitors won 19-5 and it means that the club’s first and second teams have both won their leagues this term.
