Like buses, as soon as one new set of kit comes along so does another!

Hot on the heels of the release of the Scotland Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025 home and away kits, Macron and Scottish Rugby have unveiled the new home kit for all national teams for the 2025/26 season.

The kit will first be worn during the upcoming Quilter Nations Series in November by the men, followed by the men’s, women’s and under-20s Six Nations Championships that begin in the new year.

A classic navy blue crew-neck jersey enriched with subtle heather purple details has been chosen. The design features two striking graphic elements, both closely linked to the identity of the nation. On the sleeves, a tonal print depicts the sound wave generated by the fans chanting SCOTLAND! SCOTLAND! SCOTLAND! SCOTLAND! The word “Scotland” itself is then embossed repeatedly across the lower back of the shirt.

On the chest, embroidered in white, the Macron logo appears on the right, and the Scottish Rugby crest on the left. The Macron logo is accompanied by the wording “Designed in Bologna”, highlighting that every garment is conceived, designed and developed at the Macron Campus in Italy. Inside the collar, a bespoke tape features the word “Scotland” alternating with the Scottish Rugby crest.

The home kit is completed by navy blue shorts featuring lighter navy vertical stripes down the sides and purple detailing on the leg hems. The navy socks are finished with a thin horizontal heather purple stripe at the top.

As with all technical garments produced by Macron for its partners, the new Scotland home kit is made from Eco Fabric which is a 100 percent recycled polyester material derived from plastic bottles. This choice delivers a strong message of sustainability and environmental responsibility. Specifically, the fabrics used include Eco Armevo, Eco Bodytex and Eco Strong Mesh, which combine lightness and breathability with maximum durability.

The 2025/2026 home kit, together with replica versions and the exclusive closing line and merchandise line designed by Macron for Scottish Rugby, are available from today [July 25] at the Official Scottish Rugby Stores located in Queen Street in Glasgow and Scottish Gas Murrayfield in Edinburgh and available in other retailers from August 2.

The away kit will be released in the coming weeks.

Tickets for Scotland-England at Murrayfield in April 2026 can be purchased here.
