What’s to come…

From June onwards a wider Scotland training squad will meet for various training camps until the pre-Rugby World Cup warm up matches/Summer Tests and then the big event itself which a slimmed down squad of 32 will travel to England for.

So far there is one pre-Rugby World Cup warm up match/Summer Test set in stone away to Ireland at Virgin Media Park in Cork on August 2 (kick-off time TBC), but one more is set to be confirmed soon.

The Rugby World Cup 2025 will then run from August 22 to September 27 in England with Scotland in Pool B in the 16-team event.

They open up against Wales at the Salford Community Stadium in Manchester at 2.45pm on Saturday, August 23 before facing Fiji at the same venue on Saturday, August 30 at the same venue and at the same time.

The final pool match for Scotland will be against Canada at noon on Saturday, September 6 at Sandy Park in Exeter.

The top two sides from the pool will progress and if Scotland get through they will have a quarter-final at Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol on the weekend of September 13/14.
